The Wiggles Day

Posted on: Friday, May 2, 2008

I have previously said that we will be bringing the boys to Dream World to see The Wiggles. Well today is the day. We woke up early in the morning and I prepared some breakfast and lunch. Breakfast to eat in the car and lunches when we are at dream world. Eating in there is really expansive and not really worth the money.

When we arrived half an hour earlier than the stated time, we were already late because the number of parents queuing at the entrance buying the tickets was tremendous. When we finally enter Dream World squeezing through the main street to the front of the stage to get a better view was a really suffocating process. I thought we were the only crazy parents but this Wiggle madness has in fact affected many families with children.

Aren’t parents just great? All the hassle for a 30 minutes show under the scorching sun. But all was worth it when you see the kids dancing around to the music and being happy. Hearing them scream excitedly, “Wiggles! Wiggles! Wiggles!” you really can’t help but smile.

They are so good at bringing back the memories of us when we were kids. All the energy, naivety and many more.

I really love my boys and kids.
