Popcorn, Movie and Spiderman

Posted on: Tuesday, August 12, 2008

It is Tuesday night and my hubby decides to bring us for a movie. As usual I started popping some corn and making caramel coating for the popcorn. The boys were still as fascinated as ever seeing the corn popping in the wok though I have done it many times. There and then, Clemens started his cute funny conversation with me again while waiting for his dad to return home from work.

Clemens: Mummy, popcorn?

Mummy: Yes dear

Clemens: Yeah yeah yeah! Let’s go to the movie and eat popcorn ok…..

Mummy: alright

Clemens: Ok, let’s walk

Mummy: to where?

Clemens: Walk to the movie.

Mummy: But it is cold

Clemens: Put on the Jacket then not cold already

Mummy: oh…… but it is dark out there and I am scared.

Clemens: Let’s bring Spiddy, he’s got light in his eyes and he will protect us.

I am always so fascinated talking to my boys because it really makes me wonder what is in the little brain of theirs. So naive and yet smart, so funny and yet serious at the same time. Their little talks can actually brighten up any bad day of mine and make me feel that motherhood is such a wonderful thing.
