Stir-Fry Baby Spinach

Spinach is an excellent source of vitamin K, vitamin A, manganese, folate, magnesium, iron, vitamin C, vitamin B2, calcium, potassium, and vitamin B6. It is a very good source of dietary fiber, copper, protein, phosphorous, zinc and vitamin E. In addition, it is also a good source of omega-3 fatty acids.

Difficulty: Very Easy

Time to make: 20 mins

Ingredients:

  • 200g Baby Spinach
  • 1tsp Mince Garlic
  • 1tsp Corn flour (mix with a bit of water)
  • ¼ Cup water
  • A dash of fish sauce

Prepare:

  1. Wash and rinse baby spinach.

Method:

  1. Heat 1 tbsp of oil in wok.
  2. Put in mince garlic and fry till fragrant.
  3. Add in baby spinach.
  4. Fry till soft and dark green.
  5. Add in water
  6. Add in a dash or 2 of fish sauce
  7. Stir in corn flour mix slowly and till your desired constency.

  • Note: Be alittle more careful when adding the corn flour mixture because you won’t want the sauce of the spinach to be too starchy
