Preparation Time: Depends on how fast you can wrap the dumplings



  • 2pkts     Dumpling wrapper
  • Abt 1kg Marinated mince pork filling (Click here to read on how to prepare)
  • 1             Egg


  1. Remove marinated mince pork filling from refrigerator.
  2. Add in egg and mix well.
  3. Flour tray so that when you place the wrapped dumplings on it, they won’t stick on the tray.
  4. Place a piece of dumpling wrapper on your palm and place 1 heaped teaspoon or more of the filling into the wrapper.
  5. Pinch it close and pleat.
  6. Then start cooking it the way you desire. Pan fried, boiled or steam.

Pan Fried Dumplings

  1. Oil the pan and heat it up.
  2. Arranged wrapped dumplings on the pan. (Do not overcrowd it, if not they might stick together)
  3. Lower the heat to medium high.
  4. Place a table spoonful of water on each dumpling.
  5. Cover and cook till the water dries up.
  6. Add a bit more oil and cook it for a little while more. (The oil here helps to loosen the base of the dumplings too)
  7. Serve with shredded ginger and black vinegar


Dumplings in Pork Loin Stock

  1. Boil a pot of water and add 1 tea spoon of oil into the water.
  2. Put in the wrapped dumplings and lower the heat to medium high.
  3. When the dumpling is cooked, it will start to float up.
  4. Hull it up, place it into serving bowl and pour remaining pork loin stock into the bowl.
  5. Garnish with green vegetables of your choice and fried shallots.
